While in high school, my curiosity and eagerness to learn pushed me to explore online courses beyond the classroom. I enrolled in two Python programming courses by the University of Michigan on Coursera—one beginner-level and one advanced. I wanted to strengthen my foundation in coding and understand how data structures work in real applications. The first course introduced me to Python’s basics—syntax, loops, and conditionals—while the second deepened my understanding of lists, dictionaries, and tuples. I completed every assignment and debugged each program independently, driven by a desire to learn as much as I could. These courses gave me not just technical knowledge but also confidence in my ability to self-learn through online resources, fueling my motivation to continue exploring the vast world of computer science.
